A Scent Free Zone is located in the section of seating nearest the worship team. This area is reserved for those who do not smoke or wear applied scents to church.

When your rice bowls for World Hunger are full remember to return them and obtain a new rice bowl. Hunger and mal-nutrition will be with always but you can bring relief to those in need.

"Dinner Around the World" is scheduled for noon, Sunday, December 11. You still have an opportunity to select a country, prepare a dish to share, and invite your friends to attend. Set this date aside on your calendar now because soon it will be full of other holiday activities.

Men, you are invited to participate in Men's Fraternity: The Quest for Authentic Manhood, at First Baptist Church, Sycamore. Each Session is 8-9:30 a.m. There is still time to join the men.

Bible study for ladies between the ages of 30 and 60 will begin after the first of the year. The date and time is yet to be determined, but we do know it will be during the evening or Saturday morning. Ladies who are interested should send an email to sycamorebap@yahoo.com to request information as it becomes available.

The Bible study titled "Cacophony: A Beautiful Mess" continues Wednesday night at 6:00 and everyone is invited to participate. This study of Cacophony was written originally for Rick Warren's Saddleback Church, the same group that produced The Purpose Driven Life.

OPPORTUNITIES: Nursery workers are desperately needed during our worship time. Please contact Pat Stovall, 815-762-0114 to volunteer. Awana needs helpers in several areas. To become an Awana volunteer contact Virginia Whitmire, 815-508-9705. All volunteers will go through a background check.

Today you have the opportunity today to receive "Today in the Word" daily devotional to enhance your walk with the Lord. This month the study is "Titus, Philemon, James: Lives Held Captive".

The Inquirer's Class for those who want to know about SBC and/or how to join the church meets at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. This is a helpful 6 week class taught by Pastor Stovall for all who are interested in how to live out their Christian faith as a member of Sycamore Baptist Church (SBC).
